The ETIS Administrator will consult the most updated list of CITES Management Authorities contacts provided by the CITES Secretariat or contact your country's Management Authority to validate your application. Please be patient as it may take a couple of days or longer for this process to be completed. If your country accepts your application, TRAFFIC will be instructed to welcome you as a Data Provider to ETIS. On the other hand, if your country does not accept your application, TRAFFIC will be instructed to deny you access to ETIS. In any case, you will be notified as soon as a response is received from the CITES Secretariat.
Please note that in some situations, the notification emails from ETIS have been directed into the ‘spam folders’ of some applicants as a result of the way their computers have been configured. Please check your spam to ensure that this is not the case in your situation. If you require any assistance or you believe that too much time has passed without a response, please contact ETIS through the ‘Contact ETIS’ link on the ETIS website. Thank you for requesting an account with ETIS.You are advised to review the Terms and Conditions and read them carefully before indicating your acceptance via the box provided at the bottom of this page.
